Sprint launches LTE network to 15 cities
Sprint announced it is offering its new LTE network to 15 cities surrounding the Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and San Antonio markets. These are the first markets to receive the LTE service. Sprint plans to continue expanding its LTE network throughout 2012 and by the end of 2013 expects to have mostly competed build-out of its nationwide network.

Sprint has expanded its LTE data network to customers in Baltimore, Maryland; Gainesville, Georgia; Manhattan/Junction City, Kansas; and Sedalia, Missouri. In addition, Baltimore, Boston and Washington DC now have access to Sprint's enhanced 3G service. Sprint introduces LTE network to four new cities

Sprint has announced plans to expand its 4G LTE network to four additional cities; Baltimore, MD, Gainesville, GA, Manhattan/Junction City, KS and Sherman-Denison, TX before Labour Day. Sprint launched its LTE service to fifteen cities on 15 July and intends to introduce additional market to its network throughout 2012 with plans to have its network largely completed by the end of 2013.

Sprint raises FY outlook after strong Q2

Sprint raised its forecast for annual EBITDA after reporting a strong second quarter. The company now expects adjusted EBITDA of USD 4.5-4.6 billion, up from an earlier outlook of USD 3.7-3.9 billion. In the second quarter, the company grew revenues 6 percent to USD 8.843 billion, and adjusted EBITDA rose 10 percent to USD 1.451 billion. Sprint confirms LTE launch on 15 July

Sprint has confirmed plans to launch its first LTE services in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and San Antonio on 15 July. In addition to the faster LTE service, Sprint promises an improved 3G network, with better signal strength, fewer dropped/blocked calls, faster data speeds, expanded coverage and better overall performance. More markets will receive LTE later this year, with the enhanced network expected to cover 250 million people by year-end. Sprint has already launched five LTE-capable devices
