
Stofa buys Canal Digital Denmark

Danish triple-play operator Stofa completed the acquisition of Danish cable division of Telener-owned Scandinavian TV distributor Canal Digital Denmark for DKK 51 million. Stofa bought the division of Canal Digital which provides television, internet and telephony to 31 local networks. These 31 local networks together have approximately 20,000 TV customers, about 20,000 internet customers and 6,300 VoIP customers. Canal Digital Denmark continues to control the part of the business which sells individual channels to the Danish households and the antenna association market.
