
Swisscom is increasing the speed of some of its inOne home, inOne SME office and Smart Business Connect subscriptions nationwide. Swisscom is not only increasing download speeds by up to 100 percent depending on the subscription, but also upload speeds on copper by up to 500 percent. The price of inOne home S and Vivo XS will be amended slightly, by CHF 5 or CHF 6 a month, while many prices will remain unchanged.
All customers affected by the price increase can keep their old subscription at the previous price if they notify the operator by 25 November. The new price list will take effect from December and the new speeds will be introduced gradually during October and November.
From 01 October, the tariff inOne home S will offer the download/upload speeds 50/50 Mbps, instead of 40/8 Mbps so far and the price will change from CHF 60 to CHF 65. The tariff Vivo XS will now offer the speeds 30/30 Mbps, instead of 20/4 Mbps, and the price will go up from CHF 89 to CHF 95.
From 17 October, the changes will apply to the tariffs inOne home M, inOne SME office & Smart Business Connect - options S and M, all without any price increase. InOne home M will offer service at 200/100 Mbps on copper lines instead of 100/20 Mbps so far, and on fibre-optic lines, it will offer the speeds 200/200 Mbps instead of 100/100 Mbps.
The tariff inOne SME office & Smart Business Connect S will speed up from 40/8 Mbps to 50/50 Mbps; the option M on copper lines speeds up from 100/20 Mbps to 200/100 Mbps and on fibre-optic lines, from 100/100 Mbps to 200/200 Mbps.
