Syniverse to buy MACH for EUR 550 mln

Syniverse Technologies has agreed to acquire rival MACH for EUR 550 million. The combined companies will offer an expanded range of products to help operators settle roaming, interconnect, messaging and direct billing services. Syniverse said the deal gives it added scale, on top of its over 900 existing service provider customers, as well as new products such as real-time intelligence, fraud prevention and revenue assurance systems. The company said the takeover should add to earnings within the first year of closing.
