T-Mobile, Sprint to set up and expand customer experience centres after merger, creating over 5,000 jobs
T-Mobile US and Sprint have laid out some concrete hiring plans post merger. The companies said they will then build five new Customer Experience Centers around the US, creating an average of 1,000 new jobs per centre. The companies will also expand two existing T-Mobile Center. Altogether, up to 5,600 customer care jobs will be created by 2021 in the US. By 2024, the companies said will be employing 7,500 more customer care professionals than the stand-alone companies would have.
