T-Mobile USA CFO expects more industry consolidation

T-Mobile USA Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Braxton Carter said that he expects more consolidation in the US mobile market, reports Reuters. He made the case for a between T-Mobile and larger rival Sprint, but declined to say if they had talked. Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia investor conference in New York, he said that it was 'the logical ultimate combination'. Meanwhile, T-Mobile US plans to stop selling BlackBerry smartphones in its shops and ship them directly instead.
