T-Online and Dell team up in Germany
T-Online and Dell, one of the world's largest manufacturers of PCs and notebooks, have signed a multifaceted cooperation agreement for distribution in the German market. Purchasers of Dell Dimension desktops and Inspiron notebooks receive extensive information on T-Online and a registration option. Additionally, joint marketing activities are planned. "We are delighted to have won Dell as still another strong partner for the German market," says Burkhard Graßmann, T-Online board member for marketing and sales. "In the future, purchasers of the high quality Dell computers will have easy access to firsthand information on T-Online and its products." "The Internet should be easily accessible for everyone," adds Mathias Schaedel, Dell General Manager Germany. "Exactly this is now assured for Dell customers via the partnership with T-Online." Featured until 30 September 2003 is a special offer for purchasers of the relevant Dell PCs and notebooks: On initial registration with T-Online, they receive 20 online hours in the first month. Dell additionally assumes costs of the new-contract basic fee in the T-Online eco tariff for the first three months on purchase of a PC or notebook. In the Internet, users in the future will also find information on T-Online at www.dell.de, together with an opportunity to register for the tariffs.
