
TalkTalk Telecom Group has agreed to sell its direct B2B business to Daisy Group for GBP 175 million. They have signed Heads of Terms on a proposed deal to transfer all existing TalkTalk direct B2B customers to Daisy. The proposed sale will negatively impact TalkTalk's FY19 EBITDA by GBP 15 million.
The deal covers around 80,000 SoHo, SME and large enterprise customers, and represents less than 20 percent of TalkTalk's B2B revenues. Daisy has a period of exclusively to complete the deal, with the companies looking to complete the transaction in late-July. Daisy is an existing strategic partner, to all customers will continue being served by the TalkTalk network.
The sale will allow TalkTalk Business to focus on its core strategic Partner and Wholesale business, offering services through over 800 channel relationships. These channels account for over 90 percent of TalkTalk B2B customers and over 80 percent of its revenue.
