TCL Communication has confirmed plans to bring back the Palm brand on the mobile phone market. The maker of Alcatel brand smartphones said it's creating a new Palm Inc company based in California that will take ownership of the Palm brand. The company will develop new devices with the support of TCL's own R&D department, manufacturing facilities, supply chain and marketing. The exact timing of the launch of Palm devices will be announced later, TCL said.
