With two new joint business products from TDC Mobile and Microsoft, the products Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Business Solutions-C5, -XAL, -Navision and -Axapta become genuinely mobile. The new mobile solutions are introduced today and are the result of long-term cooperation between Microsoft and TDC Mobile. At the same time, the two companies have chosen to enter into a partnership agreement on continued development and marketing of easy and user-friendly access to data services from mobile phones.
The new business product "På Farten med Outlook" ("On the Road with Outlook") gives Microsoft Outlook users mobile access to fully updated emails, calendar and task lists no matter how far they are from their computers.
Also companies using Microsoft Business Solutions products for CRM, stock management, order management or time registration get the opportunity of making their employees more mobile. "På Farten med Navision" ("On the Road with Navision") means that the four solutions, Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision, Microsoft Business Solutions-C5, Microsoft Business Solutions-XAL and Microsoft Business Solutions-Axapta, can now be accessed in fully updated form via the mobile phone, a PDA or a laptop. The product is aimed at for instance sales consultants who want to be able to give customers a response immediately as to their stock of products and the like and at craftsmen who prepare bills on the basis of time registration.
