Tele2 Kazakhstan has launched its public 5G network in the city of Almaty, reports Profit.kz. This is the first public 5G network across the country. The maximum broadband speed reached on the network during tests totaled 1.2 Gbps, according to the operator.
A single pilot area is available in the city, but the coverage of the 5G network is planned to expand. The operator plans to offer access to unlimited mobile data services on its 5G network soon.
