Telecity starts building fourth Dublin data center

Telecity Ireland has broken ground on Dub 4, a new 2,500 sq mt data centre in Blanchardstown, Dublin, whose first phase will open this summer. The group's fourth data centre in Ireland will employ 10 engineers. Telecity employs 60 people at its three other data centres in Dublin. The new facility will host international, national and metropolitan Tier 1 and 2 carriers, ISPs and content distribution networks, with access to transatlantic connectivity.
