Telefonica adds over 300,000 M2M lines in 2018

Monday 21 January 2019 | 15:50 CET | News
Telefonica Spain announced the addition of 317,000 machine-to-machine (M2M) lines in 2018 to reach a total of 2.33 million in the country, up 16 percent year on year. The operator attributed the growth in part to the new Internet of Things management services available on its Kite platform, allowing customers to take control of their IoT connections. The financial, retail, security, transport, logistics and automotive sectors led the market in terms of IoT adoption, said Telefonica.
