Telefonica Brasil net revenue up 1.5% to BRL 10.59bn

Telefonica Brasil ended Q1 2017 with net operating revenue of BRL 10.59 billion, up by 1.5 percent on the same period in 2016. Net operating service revenue was BRL 10.34 billion (+2.0%), of which BRL 6.20 million was mobile revenue (+5.0%) and BRL 4.12 billion was fixed revenue (-2.2%). Recurring EBITDA reached BRL 3.51 billon (+7.3%) and the recurring EBITDA margin was 33.2 percent (+1.8%). Recurring operating costs reached BRL 7.07 billion (-1.1%), while net financial expenses amounted to BRL 290.4 million (-8.3%). Recurring net profit was BRL 996.2 million (+13.3%).
