Telefonica launches Wayra business academy in UK
Telefonica has opened the Wayra business incubator academy in London. Wayra aims to help digital start-up companies by providing them with thousands of pounds worth of funding to get their ideas off the ground, as well as mentoring, access to legal and financial advice, new technologies and premises. It is already operating in nine other markets across Europe and America.

Telefonica's digital incubator Wayra has announced the winners of its first call for participants in the UK. Telefonica has launched its Talentum summer job and apprenticeship scheme in Spain. The Talentum project complements Telefonica's Wayra business incubator academy that already operates in Europe and Latin America. Telefonica to expand start-up incubator to Israel – report

Telefonica executives are holding meetings in Israel for the establishment of a start-up incubator, Globes reports, citing unnamed sources. Telefonica already operates its Wayra business incubator academy in Europe and Latin America. Israel is rumored to be the next target.
