Telekom Austria to take impairment in Belarus

Telekom Austria announced that a EUR 300 million impairment in Belarus will have a significant negative impact on its 2011 net income. The impairment was triggered after Telekom Austria changed to taking hyperinflation in Belarus into account. The dividend of EUR 0.38 for 2011 and 2012 will remain unaffected. A dividend of 55 percent of free cash flow will be paid from 2013 as long as this doesn't lead to a deterioration in group equity. Telekom Austria will announce earnings on 23 February. It also maintained its outlook for revenues of approximately EUR 4.50 billion, adjusted EBITDA of up to EUR 1.55 billion, capex of EUR 750-800 million and operating free cash flow of up to EUR 800 million.
