Telemach Hrvatska launches fibre broadband services at up to 2 Gbps

Croatian operator Telemach Hrvatska is introducing new packages with internet and fixed telephony services on its optical network. Customers can choose from speeds of 300 Mbps, 1 Gbps and 2 Gbps.

Over the next five years, Telemach plans to cover a third of Croatia, or more than 500,000 households, with its 10G optical network. The optical network is currently available for about 7,000 homes in the Novi Zagreb area, and by the end of the year, more than 70,000 households will be able to access the services. The operator plans to invest EUR 100 million in the construction of the network in Croatia.

The operator’s mobile users who subscribe to optical internet will receive additional discounts of HRK 10 per month on the plans. The standard price for the services is HRK 139 for 300/150 Mbps, HRK 169 for 1 Gbps download and 500 Mbps upload and HRK 299 per month for the symmetric 2 Gbps service. That includes a fixed line with unlimited calls to Telemach fixed and mobile numbers and 1,500 minutes per month to other national fixed numbers.
