Telenet adds 35,800 quad-play households in Q2

Telenet announced further growth in the number of quad-play households, sold as Wigo. In the second quarter, the company said net household additions for quad-play went to 35,800 households, for a total of 224,400. Revenues slipped 1 percent from the year before to EUR 622.3 million, while the adjusted EBITDA lifted 4 percent to EUR 303 million. The net result went to a profit of EUR 11 million from a loss of 11.0 million the year earlier. Telenet confirmed its outlook for the entire financial year, with stable revenues and mid-single-digit growth for its adjusted EBITDA.
