Telenet launches Teletenne in Brussels, Flanders
Belgian cable operator Telenet will launch its new Teletenne digital terrestrial TV product on 25 June in Brussels and Flanders. Telenet will use the masts of Norkring to reach customers and offer them services via antenna. Telenet signed an agreement in February 2010 to use capacity on Norkring's DTT network. With Teletenne, customers can receive 13 channels for EUR 11.50 per month, including Een, Canvas, Ketnet/Op12, Vijf TV, VT4, Acht, National Geographic, MTV, Channel Z, Nickelodeon, Njam, Studio 100TV and Ment TV. The operator plans to expend the offering in the future. The accompanying electronic programme guide (EPG) can search two days ahead. Customers are not tied to a contract for the service.
