Telenor Hungary and UPC Direct entered into a strategic cooperation whereby they are offering bundled packages at discounted rates as of 5 June. Telenor and UPC Direct enable their customers to choose bundles offering mobile broadband internet and satellite television services. Under the terms of the agreement, customers are offered mobile broadband and satellite TV packages, including HD content and packages which are also available in areas without wired cable networks. Initially, the packages are available in a number of areas. Subsequently, their availability will be expanded nationwide through both companies' sales networks. The bundled offers can include UPC Direct packages plus Telenor Hungary's Hipernet 5, 7, 21 and 42 tariff packages with unlimited browsing. The bundle packages are available along with two-year subscriptions.
