Telenor Pakistan posted an operating profit of NOK 553 million in the second quarter of 2018, which represents a decline from NOK 636 million in the year-ago period. The operator's revenues for the quarter amounted to NOK 1.928 billion, down from NOK 2.113 billion in the same quarter of the previous year. Total revenues in local currency increased by 8 percent, boosted by rising handset sales and higher international interconnect revenues, parent company Telenor reported.
