Telenor, Telia activate 3.5 GHz frequencies for 5G in Denmark

Telenor Denmark and Telia Denmark said their Danish joint venture TT-Network is activating 5G on the 3.5 GHz band at the beginning of June, supported by equipment provider Nokia. The two companies are expanding 5G in Denmark's four largest cities, and also extending 4G and 5G coverage summer cabin resorts and other parts of the country where internet use has risen. Nokia said it will provide its ReefShark SoC-based AirScale 5G RAN portfolio, including 5G Massive MIMO antennae.
