Televisa introduces Izzi Telecom brand in Mexico
Mexico's Televisa Group has started marketing unlimited telephony and broadband services plus pay-TV under the brand Izzi Telecom, reports El Economista. Its pay-TV subsidiary Cablevision has started using the Izzi Telecom brand in the Mexico City metropolitan area on 3 November in double and triple play packages, which will be expanded later across the country. In a filing to the Mexico Stock Exchange, Televisa said that Izzi Telecom will provide fixed telephony and unlimited calls to landline and mobile phones in Mexico, US, Canada, the rest of America and Europe, as well as 10 Mbps broadband internet, for MXN 400 per month. It also promises cheap options to add pay-TV services.
