Telstra TV is making the Telstra TV available to postpaid mobile or mobile broadband end-users. Until now, end-users had to have a Telstra home broadband connection to access it. The company unlocked all the features that were previously available to those on the Telstra broadband network. Customers can now access the content-led home screen, search and free-to-air TV tuner Telstra TV offers regardless of their ISP.
Customers will be able to take-up Telstra TV outright or on a 24-month plan.
Customers who buy a Telstra TV will receive AUD 125 Telstra TV Box Office credit, providing up to 20 new release movie rentals at no extra cost.
Customers can own a Telstra TV for AUD 216 outright or they can purchase it for AUD 9 per month over 24 months (minimum cost AUD 216).
