Tigo Senegal could change hands – report

Millicom is negotiating a possible sale of Tigo Senegal, reports Dakar Actu quoting unnamed sources. The owner of money transfer service Wari, Kabirou Mbodje, has held advanced talks to acquire the operator, according to one of Wari’s executives, although a deal has not yet been finalised.

Millicom has reportedly been considering the disposal of a number of its African subsidiaries and has recently been rumoured to be negotiating the disposal of Tigo Ghana, which could be taken over by Orange.
