TMN launches archive for mobile phone content
Portuguese mobile operator TMN has announced the launch of the TMN Backup service, which permits the creation of an archive for content accumulated on the mobile phone, such as contacts, messages and photographs. The mobile phone operator owned by the PT Group adds that it has now become possible to create a backup copy of mobile phone content on a TMN server, from which users can, if need arises and with the guarantee of full confidentiality, recuperate archived information. TMN Backup also permits the updating of information contained in the mobile phone with the periodicity desired by the user. This service is the result of many requests on part of clients, who every time they changed mobile phones or had technical problems with them risked loosing all of the information contained in the devices. Initially the service will be available only for clients who purchase the i9 Nokia 6600 with the above-mentioned application. Starting from October, the application will be ready for download on the website myTMN, becoming accessible to all mobile phones compatible with the service.
