TP launches triple-play package
Telekomunikacja Polska plans to launch a triple-play package with video, phone and internet service from 16 October. The Multipack tp will initially be available in Warsaw, Poznan, Krakow, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Katowice. Using the Livebox developed by affiliate France Telecom, the service includes a basic TV package of 20 channels and the possibility of purchasing videos on demand or the CYFRA+ premium service with 75 channels. The wireless internet service is at 512 Kbps or 1024 Kbps, while the phone service uses VoIP. The company is offering the package with 512 KBps internet for PLZ 29 per month for the first six months, followed by PLZ 62.33 per month for another eighteen months. The bundled services are some 12-40 percent cheaper than purchasing the elements separately, TP claims.
