Ultravision launches 4.5G service in Puebla

Mexican pay-TV and telecom operator Ultravision, part of the Ultra Telecom group, has launched its first 4.5G service in the state of Puebla, reports El Financiero. The company uses Nokia's Mobile Core, VoLTE and Airscale RAN technology in the 2.5GHz band for the service and is planning to extend it to the states of Aguascalientes, Veracruz, Guerrero and Tlaxcala in the medium term, said the report.
