UPC Netherlands has launched a new mobile offering. UPC Mobile offers three no-contract, Sim-only plans. Customers can also share their plan with up to four other people, with each additional Sim costing EUR 10 per month.
The mobile service will be introduced gradually, in order to ensure a good quality of service, the cable operator said. It will first be offered to a select group of existing UPC customers and later this year be available for all UPC clients.
The basic plan costs EUR 12.50 per month for 100 minutes, 300 MB and unlimited SMS. For EUR 20 per month, the 'More' plan offers 400 minutes, 1.5 GB and unlimited SMS. The 'Endless' plan costs EUR 35 for 4 GB and unlimited calls and SMS. All the plans come with per-second billing and access to over 500,000 hotspots across the country.
