Virgin Connect launches MVNO in Russia
MVNO Virgin Connect, controlled by the Virgin Group, has started sales of its mobile services in Russia, reports Cnews.ru. Mobile services will be available for customers using broadband services from Virgin Connect at the initial stage. 

Subscribers are offered a 40 percent discount on broadband services, free on-net calls and free mobile TV services. The MVNO plans to enter the market with an open offer including special products for businesses later.

Virgin Connect provides broadband services in 500 settlements across the country. It carries out its MVNO on the network of mobile operator Tele2 Russia.

Virgin Connect launches Big Data-based ads product

Russian operator Trivon Networks, working under the Virgin Connect brand, has launched its new MacTarget product, reports Comnews.ru.The new product is based on Big Data; it enables to collect the data from mobile service users and to target online advertising to them using this data. The company has already launched the commercial exploitation of the product; it is available in all cities where the operator is present.
