Virgin Mobile launches MVNO in Mexico

Virgin Mobile has launched operations in Mexico, El Universal reports. Virgin Mobile Mexico will initially target the young customer segment, including users aged 15 to 34. The MVNO will offer prepay services, with per-second billing. Virgin Mobile will provide its MVNO service in Mexico using the Movistar network. Virgin Mobile signed an agreement to purchase network capacity from Telefonica Mexico in November 2013.
