Vivendi puts Maroc Telecom stake up for sale
Vivendi Universal has appointed Credit Agricole to find a buyer for its 35 percent stake in Maroc Telecom, worth an estimated EUR 1.6 billion, the Financial Times reported citing sources close to the situation. The French media and telecom group pursues a EUR 16 billion asset disposal programme. Besides the Maroc Telecom news, Vivendi reportedly distributed an initial sale notice, or "teaser", for its US entertainment assets, including Universal Studios, theme parks and cable TV channels.
