Vodafone Czech Republic launches LTE 800 MHz testing
Vodafone Czech Republic launched a two-month test of its LTE network in the 800 MHz band on an initial seven transmitters in Velka Bites and environs. Users who have a LTE SIM card and a device supporting LTE 800 MHz can try the service. The theoretical speed is up to 75 Mbps, and average speeds of 20–30 Mbps can be expected. Vodafone launched LTE on the 1800 and 900 MHz bands already in 2013. 

Vodafone offers LTE under the brand Turbo Internet, which now covers 82 percent of the population and 56 percent of the territory. As of the end of May, Vodafone covered additional locations in the regions Karlovy Vary, Liberec, Usti nad Labem, Pilsen, Pardubice, Central Bohemia, Southern Bohemia, Vysocina and Southern Moravia. By the end of this year, Turbo Internet is expected to cover 93 percent of the population. 

Like on 1800 MHz and 900 MHz frequencies, LTE in the 800 MHz band supports voice calls as well as data, using the CS Fall Back function. The radio network technology supplier is Huawei.
