Vodafone, Liberty Global offer concessions on Dutch deal

Thursday 14 July 2016 | 09:27 CET | News
Vodafone and Liberty Global have submitted commitments to the European Commission already on their proposed joint venture in the Netherlands. According to the EC Competition website, the undertakings were submitted on 12 July. Further details on the commitments were not disclosed. Vodafone and Liberty Global first applied for EU clearance of the deal in mid-June. In early July, the Dutch competition and telecom regulator ACM made a request to the EC to evaluate the deal itself. The EC must still respond to the latter request.
