Vodafone has confirmed it is considering floating its New Zealand business in 2018, Stuff.co.nz reports, citing Vodafone New Zealand spokeswoman Elissa Downey. The company intends "to explore a potential IPO of Vodafone New Zealand during the 2018 calendar year", Downey said. No final decision had been made, she added.
Vodafone ended September with 2.458 million mobile customers in New Zealand, down by 33,000 from the previous quarter but an increase of 3 percent year-on-year. The company also counted 425,000 fixed broadband customers, a number largely stable for over a year.
