Vodafone Spain revamps mobile tariffs, adds Backup+ service

Vodafone Spain has announced a revamp of its entire postpay mobile tariff range, increasing monthly data allowances and adding services such as Backup+ cloud storage. The changes affect the operator’s Red, Smart and Mini plans, with the premium Red XL tariff now coming with 8GB of mobile data at 4G+ speeds of up to 300Mbps, unlimited calls and SMS plus 1GB and 1,000 minutes of EU roaming for EUR 59 per month. At the lower end of the scale, the Mini S plan now includes 900 minutes of mobile data at 4G+ speeds, plus calls at EUR 0.20 for the set up and SMS at EUR 0.12 for a monthly charge of EUR 11.50.

In addition, all tariffs now come with the Backup+ service that integrates with Dropbox cloud storage and offers new features designed for smartphone users. Backup+ will enable Vodafone customers to automatically sync their contacts and save all photos, videos and other files in a Dropbox account, with 25GB of free space available for two years to Red L and XL subscribers and one year to Red M, Smart and Mini users.

Vodafone Spain adds European, US roaming to revamped plans

Vodafone Spain has announced a major revamp of its mobile and convergent tariffs, adding free roaming in Europe and the US to all Vodafone One, Red, L and M plans. Vodafone Spain has launched a new roaming option, dubbed Tarifa de Viaje, that allows customers to continue using their normal mobile tariff abroad on payment of a daily rate. Vodafone Spain has announced that its customers can now access 4G roaming in 59 countries worldwide, with the figure rising to 62 later this month. Vodafone Spain has increased the monthly data limit of many of its mobile tariffs for new and existing customers, while also applying a slight increase in monthly fees. Vodafone Spain to roll out Call+ VoLTE service in June

Vodafone Spain has announced that it will be officially launching its VoLTE service, dubbed Call+, in June. The service offers connection speeds up to 20 times faster than VoIP over 3G and allows multimedia content to be shared between two phones during a call, as well as seamless switching back and forth between voice and video call modes.
