Vodafone to launch low-cost MVNO in Spain – report
Vodafone Spain will soon launch a low-cost MVNO in Spain. The MVNO will mainly target the young customer segment, Spanish journalist Miguel Angel Uriondo writes in a blog post. The MVNO will provide its services using the Vodafone mobile network, and is expected to operate under the VFN or Vodafone Young brand name, Actualidad Economica reports, citing unnamed sources close to the matter.

Pepephone to launch naked ADSL service in November

Spanish MVNO Pepephone will launch a naked ADSL service in November, ADSLzone reports, citing company sources. The ADSL2+ service will be available in a beta version for a monthly fee of EUR 27.83 (VAT included). Subscribers will have access to speeds of 20 Mbps for download and 1 Mbps for upload. Pepephone will provide its ADSL service in partnership with Vodafone.

The Phone House's Spanish MVNO Happy Movil has launched a mobile top-up promotion, the Movilonia portal reports. Customers who make a minimum top-up of EUR 20 (VAT included) will receive a bonus of 500 MB for mobile internet traffic. This bonus is valid for 30 days following activation.

Orange Spain has launched an MVNO service dubbed Amena. Orange Spain took over the Amena brand name when it acquired Auna's mobile business in 2005. Amena will market its services exclusively online.
