Vodafone UK launches WiFi Calling nationwide
Vodafone UK has announced the launch of nationwide WiFi Calling. The service will be rolled out across the UK over the next few weeks on a range of smartphones. It will be available to any pay-monthly customer on a Vodafone Red Bundle with compatible handset. There will be no additional charge to use the service. Vodafone UK Consumer Director Cindy Rose said that WiFi Calling was one of a series of new voice services being launched for customers over the coming months.

WiFi Spark installs Wi-Fi network for Park Holidays

UK specialist Wi-Fi network solutions provider WIFi Spark has won a contract to deploy the Spark Guest WiFi platform across Park Holidays sites across the UK. This follows a successful proof of concept at the Park Holidays site Cogurst Hall in East Sussex. The new network offers pay-to-use high speed internet access to residents and visitors in addition to service within the communal and club house areas. The UK Government confirmed that more than three million unique users are regularly using free Wi-Fi which has been installed on buses and trams as part of the SuperConnected cities initiative.
