Vodafone, Wind Hellas establish network company

Vodafone Greece and Wind Hellas have established the new network company 'Victus Networks'. Shares of the company are divided equally between the two carriers, each holding 50 percent of the capital. Victus will launch operations 10 March, managing all base stations of the two access networks and providing relevant services to the two carriers. Each company will maintain the exclusive use of their own respective networks. The corresponding investment in the new company and infrastructure is projected to exceed EUR 150 million, which the companies expect will bring EUR 50 million in benefits to other sectors of the national economy.
