Jeroen Hoencamp, CEO of VodafoneZiggo, had called for a nation digitalisation summit, less regulation and the complete release of the 3.5 GHz band for 5G networks in the Netherlands. At a debate organised by VodafoneZiggo with politicians and industry leaders, the CEO said the country may be a leader in connectivity, but the government needs to work harder at creating the right environment for long-term investment in digital infrastructure or the country will fall behind.
