Wearable device shipments up 85% in Q2 to 67.7 mln units

Monday 9 September 2019 | 17:00 CET | News
Global wearable device shipments grew 85.2 percent in the second quarter as shipments totaled 67.7 million units, according to data from the International Data Corporation (IDC). Driving that growth was a slew of new products and consumers who purchased their second wearable, a hearable, to use in parallel with existing watches or wrist bands.
