Hungarian mobile operator Westel launched a commercial WLAN service at Ferihegy Airport in Budapest, following successful completion of a one-year trial. The service, aimed primarily at business users, offers high-speed wireless Internet access to both postpaid and prepaid customers. Westel plans to introduce W-LAN services at numerous high traffic locations, including shopping malls and conference centers.
