White House feud with CNN could affect Time Warner-AT&T deal

White House advisers have indicated that the feud between US President Donald Trump and CNN could cool government sentiment for the pending merger between Time Warner, the parent and CNN, and AT&T, the New York Times reported. The Justice Department will decide whether to approve the USD 85 billion takeover of Time Warner by AT&T, and while analysts say there is little to stop the deal, market watcher say the president remains a wild card.
