Middle East and Africa operator Zain Group will launch its mobile Wi-Fi hotspot device Zain Mifi Intelligent Mobile Hotspot initially in Kuwait. The company plans on extending this service to other countries in the future. The Zain Mifi Intelligent Mobile Hotspot enables Zain customers to create their own Wi-Fi hotspot using their mobile broadband connection and offers the possibility to share the connection with up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices like laptops, MIDs, UMPCs, smart phones, cameras, gaming devices or portable media players. The service can be used by Zain Kuwait customers in any of the other 20 Zain "One Network' countries. Zain Mifi does not require any type of installation or previously installed software. The device is delivered by Novatel Wireless.
