Zayo files for IPO
Network operator Zayo has filed for an initial public offering of shares in the US. The company has yet to set the number or price of shares to be sold. The proceeds will be used to pay off debt, further acquisitions, working capital and capital expenditures. 

Based in Colorado, Zayo provides a range of fibre network services for wholesale customers and businesses. Its network covered over 77,000 route miles in 297 geographic markets in the US and Europe at the end of March. It was connected to 14,490 buildings, including 3,838 cellular towers and 527 data centres. For the nine months to 31 March, Zayo recorded a net loss of USD 105.6 million, adjusted EBITDA of USD 482.6 million and revenues of USD 826.5 million.
