ZTE announced a net profit of CNY 2.294 billion for the first half of 2017, up 29.9 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a preliminary report that the growth came from its network infrastructure and mobile devices businesses. Revenue for the six months was up 13.1 percent to CNY 54.011 billion, helped by growth in wireless, wireline and bearer networks, as well as handsets, the company said.
The results follow a 27.8 percent annual increase in net profit and 17.8 percent higher revenues in the first quarter of the year.
