Austrian operator A1 has launched its own music streaming service called A1 Xplore Music. The service is zero-rated, with no charge for data consumption, in Austria and the EU. It includes more than 30 million songs, over 10,000 live radio channels, and audio books, with a focus on music from Austria.
A1 Xplore Music is available exclusively to A1 customers. With many tariffs, they can get the first twelve months for free, after which the service costs EUR 8.90 a month.
A1 has been offering a zero-rated service called Free Stream for some time now, allowing access to the most popular streaming services without using FUP data. In April, the operator extended the service to all tariffs.
