German pre-paid discount mobile service Aldi Talk will abolish call roaming charges within the EU from 03 March, teltarif.de reports. This will also extend to calls made in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland. The changes will apply automatically for both new and existing customers. From 03 March, the same conditions will apply for calls within the EU as within Germany with the Aldi Talk standard tariff. This means that calls to other Aldi Talk customers will cost 3 cents per minute, with calls to other German fixed-line and mobile numbers costing 11 cents per minute. Incoming calls within the EU will be free of charge.
