Apple, Google are again world's most valuable brands - Interbrand

Apple and Google again topped Interbrand’s latest ranking of the world’s most valuable brands, for 2018. Amazon came in third place, edging out Microsoft, now in fourth. Coca Cola came in fifth place, followed by Samsung, Toyota, BMW, Facebook and McDonalds. Spotify entered the top 100 list for the first time, coming in at 92.  

Apple’s brand value went up 16 percent to USD 214.5 billion, while at Google, it lifted 10 percent to USD 155.5 billion. At Amazon, it surged 56 percent to USD 100.7 billion. For Microsoft, growth was also strong, 16 percent higher to 92.7 billion. For newcomer Spotify, the brand value is seen at 5.2 billion.

Among other tech related brands, Intel took 11th place, IBM 12th, Cisco 15th, Oracle 19th, SAP 21st, Accenture 34th, EBay 38th, Adobe 51st, HP 54th, Siemens 56th, Sony 59th, HPE 65th, Netflix 66th, Huawei 68th, PayPal 73rd, Salesforce 75th, Panasonic 76th, and Nintendo 99th.
