Apple to rebrand TV box as iTV - report
Apple is repapring to launch a new TV box and change its branding to iTV from Apple TV, Engadget reports. The set-top box will sell for USD 99 and offer similar specs to the iPhone 4, with the A4 processor and 16GB flash storage. However, video playback will be limited to 720p. Apple plans new streaming services on iTunes that can be used on the box, as well as dedicated apps for the device on the App Store. The device should be unveiled in the autumn, with a return to the original branding of iTV.

Apple confirmed the launch of its new Apple TV device for later this month. The media player with HDMI and Wi-Fi will allow users to stream online movies and TV series as well as content from their PCs to a HD TV. Apple TV will sell for USD 99. Apple TV to feature Netflix service - report

Apple's new TV device will include programming from US video rentals service Netflix, three people with knowledge of the plans told Bloomberg News. The streaming service would be available on the revamped version of Apple TV, due to be introduced on 1 September in San Francisco, said two of the people.
